Why was Alexa Chung show canceled?

Does anybody know why MTV decided to pull the plug on Alexa Chung's show? I thought is was a great show and featured some of the best celebrities since TRL.

I was just starting to get into the show when MTV pulled the plug. Maybe the show wasn't getting enough viewers.
